Call of Duty WW2 - microtransactions will come later

Call of Duty WW2, as every big game nowadays, will offer microtransactions. In-game currency will happen, but later than expected.

Call of Duty WW2 debuted at the beginning of this month and it quickly became extremely popular. New Sledgehammer Games' title turned out to be a great new direction for the series, although the developer was reluctant to set their game back in World War II period. Nevertheless, players appreciated that change and the game is selling like crazy.

For now, Call of Duty WW2 does not have any in-game currency, so it was free of microtransactions - but they're coming. Why the delay? Activision said the developer needs to fix problems that appeared at launch first. Anyway, the reviews are online and the reviewers couldn't write about micropayments, so that's one way to deal with potential hate.

Micropayments will be available in Call of Duty WW2 on November 21st. We don't know what we will buy with Call of Duty Points, apart from existing lootboxes, of course. It's worth to mention that owners of the game in digital version have 1,000 CoD Points already.
