Call of Duty WW2 stolen from Sony

Call of Duty WW2 is to be released next month but the game is ready and waiting in Sony's storage. A thief found out where the copies are kept and stole some of them. His stupidity got in the way shortly after.

Around two weeks ago CEO of Sledgehammer Games announced that Call of Duty WW2 is finished and ready for the release. The game is planned for November 3rd and we can rest assure there will be no delays. Sadly, that's not enough for everybody.

Call of Duty WW2 shows horrors of war

One impatient player could not wait for Call of Duty WW2 and decided to stole some copies from Sony's storages.. He only needed one, so the rest he put on eBay. As true Robin Hood, he wasn't even asking for a full retail price. The early copies from illegal source could be bought for $45. And everyone with the Internet connection could see the offer.

Maybe if he kept the copies for himself, he wouldn't be caught - but he didn't! The thief was apprehended after the police pulled him over on the road. He was not an employee of said storage in Indiana, so it's yet unknown how he managed to take the copies away. The police is currently conducting an investigation.
